Workshop Overview

Coaching is fast becoming an essential skill in organisations that want to thrive. It’s an excellent way to support professional and personal development building trust and creating a culture of collaboration and ownership.

This one-day workshop, delivered by SAOS Lead on Climate Change and Sustainability, Emma Patterson Taylor and Emma Koubayssi will introduce you to the fundamentals of coaching. You’ll be immersed into the foundational principles, learn how to adopt a coaching mindset, gain perspective on the key coaching skills and learn how to use established coaching frameworks such as the GROW model.

This will be a practical session where you will learn essential coaching skills for managers, which you can apply in your workplace to empower your team to become more self-reliant, confident and ultimately drive performance.

Bios

Emma Patterson Taylor heads up SAOS’ work on climate change and sustainability. After experiencing the power of coaching as part of her Rural Leadership course in 2016, Emma went on to study coaching at Henley Business School and has practised those skills informally and formally ever since. Her Henley coaching circle is an ongoing source of support and learning, meeting monthly over the last five years.

Emma Koubayssi is a vibrant, dynamic Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentialed by the International Coaching Federation and is also a qualified coach supervisor. With over a decade of experience coaching professionals across the globe, Emma brings an international perspective having lived in Australia, Qatar, Spain and West Africa.
