Our work allows farming, food and drink businesses to realise the commercial advantages achievable by working together more effectively, and to contribute to the success of Scotland’s food and drink industry and rural economy.
Looking for help to explore new horizons?
You don’t have to be in a co‑op to benefit from SAOS's skills and knowledge. Everyone has some sort of supply chain, and whether you're supplying, buying, producing or procuring, working together makes sense for everyone, we get that.
We know that the co-op model might not be right for everyone, but "co-operating" effectively, for the benefit of your business, is.
We’ve created a new way to help. Our associate membership gives non co-ops the opportunity to benefit from our expertise and know-how. This new type of membership gives businesses large and small access to SAOS. You can even join as an individual.
Our range of services, know-how and experience are highly relevant to any business in the food and drink, farming and wider rural sector, and our network of contacts is second to none.
We get things done.
