SAOS Launches New Training Programme Aimed at Tomorrow's Industry Leaders

02 August 2022

SAOS, together with our partners NFU Mutual, NFU Scotland and The Leadership Factory, has launched an exciting new training and development programme - Growing Tomorrow’s Leaders.

Agriculture and its adjacent sectors are going through unprecedented times of change. There are myriad current challenges to face and overcome, and an uncertain future on the horizon. For many, these challenges will lead to opportunity and for some they will provide a time to lead and help show others the way forward.

“If we do what we’ve always done, we’ll get what we’ve always got.”

Growing Tomorrow's Leaders provides employers with the chance to invest in their most promising employees, their own business and indeed the industry. We'll help these leaders of tomorrow grow into their potential now – equipping them with new skills, a strong mutually-supportive network, a positive mindset, as well as new ways of thinking – and doing.

Our professional skills programme will extend beyond personal development by providing a structured training experience which will add future value to the business as well as for the benefit to the wider industry.

The programme commences in October, running until March 2023.
