Zoom at Noon with Farmstock

At the recent assistant managers forum meeting Vicky from Farmstock shared their latest idea on how to keep in touch with their membership during a time when they aren’t allowed to go out on farm unless absolutely necessary: 'Zoom at Noon' was launched and sees Farmstock invite all members to join them for a brief trade update and then to hear from a guest speaker (such as a vet or nutritionist) to present on a topical subject for half an hour. This is a great way to catch up with people and get some helpful info at the same time - get in touch with your Farm Stock Scotland contact https://farmstock.org.uk/meet-the-team/ for info and joining details.

Scottish Pig Producer's Peter Duthie hits the headlines

Peter Duthie, Operations Manager of Scottish Pig Producer, and member of ANM Group has been in the news twice recently. Great to hear from things from the Next Generation's point of view:

Peter shares his thoughts on benefits of co-operation, and also some of the challenges, in the Scottish Farmer: https://www.thescottishfarmer.co.uk/news/yfc_news/18541230.sayfcs-peter-duthie-cooperating-covid-19/

And in the Farmers Guardian, he talks about his Young Farmers experiences: https://www.fginsight.com/blogs/young-farmer-focus-peter-duthie---agriculture-has-been-in-my-blood-the-last-three-generations

Please do let us know if you're 'in the news' or if there's something you'd like to share!
