All our work helps facilitate farmers and food and drink businesses to work together effectively. Over the years we've expanded and developed subsidiary businesses - getting the right people together and making innovative advancements - to help benefit food, farming and rural Scotland.

By working hard to understand how co‑op governance, technology and trust must be balanced, we have positioned ourselves as Scotland’s leading source of expertise on sharing industry data.

The ScotEID database provides real-time tracing data of farm livestock through their supply chains, until the point when they enter the food chain.

MyHerdStats

MyHerdStats has been developed by ScotEID using statutory cattle registration and movement data to provide cattle keepers with a consistent and accurate insight into their herd performance.

AMU (Antimicrobial use) Pilot

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) threatens the effective prevention and treatment of an ever-increasing range of infections caused by bacteria, parasites, viruses and fungi. The Scottish AMU (antimicrobial use) Pilot works supporting vet practices to produce AMU reports for farming clients, increasing awareness and sharing knowledge around usage and proactive alternatives.
